Power Pack: The power pack weighs 5lbs. 9oz. The patented, super-tough, injection-molded nylon, interlocking battery capsules and control box are mounted on top grain leather (4 1/8" wide), which distributes the weight evenly around your waist.
Batteries: The Sunburst Eagle II uses 11 nickel cadmium "D" cells rated @ 4 Amp/hrs; 14+ Volts
Suspenders:The power pack is supported with nylon suspenders. These suspenders fit 28" to 54" and adjust both front and back allowing you to wear the power pack up high or more towards your hips. Sizing is done with either a large or small adjustable elastic band that fits between the two power packs - leaving your back "battery free."
Control Box: The control box contains the walking light (which shines at your feet and toggle switch), the Diamond posi-power headlight switch, the double female hand spot jacks, and the on/on toggle switch for hand spot power control. On the left side of the power pack is a capsule that contains the double female Diamond headlight jacks and the one-way charger receptacle.
Hand Spot: Detachable; 30 watt halogen bulb rated @ 135,000 candlepower with a push button switch. When fully charged, the hand spot will shine at full-brightness for 80 minutes. There is also a leather sheath to carry the hand spot and a leather strap that snaps around the handle to secure it.
Charger: U.L. approved; 300 mA constant charge. Charges in 15 hours and can be left on charger for 30 days at a time.
Diamond Headlight: The 5-position posi-power headlight switch operates the Diamond headlight and switches on/off 5 of the nickel cadmium batteries, then 7, then 8, then 9, and finally 10 batteries. This gives the user a wide selection of power and light to choose from. In other words, any power taken from the power pack is converted into light. No resistance is used in dimming the Diamond headlight or hand spot. |
